Habits of lifelong learners

Among the 7 1/2 habits of highly successful lifelong learners, the easiest for me is:
Habit 1 - Begin with the end in mind. From what I have learned from goal analysis, my goal is to be able to become more familiar with emerging technology that customers may ask about in the library. Along the way I hope to learn about some specific new tools such as blogging, Flickr, RSS, Wikis and Podcasts. I'm also looking forward to using these new technologies outside of the library and to be able to understand what the heck my kids have been talking about since they've probably been doing all of these things for ages!
The hardest habit may be: Habit 3 - View problems as challenges. Instead of looking for the quickest way to solve a problem and make it go away, we sometimes need to take some time and examine all options to see what will not only solve the problem, but help us achieve our goal as well. So now, if I've set up my blog correctly, I'm ready for the next step!
